it’s an invisible disease that no one can see

Its light and dark in fact young and old

it’s a disease you wouldn't know we have if you weren't told

Imagine waking up and wiggling a finger or a toe

a pain test I do every day so I can determine how my day may go

The term you only live once is essential to us

waking up with mild pain is always a plus

What would you do if you woke up in too much pain to simply sit up or if you needed help to pour juice into a cup?

There are days when dressing for the day is a task

needing help with no choice but to ask

One of us got diagnosed at the age of 25

Told that she wouldn't live yet she is still alive

Imagine walking and everything going numb

People not believing or understand where it comes from

Can you picture going through life depending on a machine to keep you going as you watch your favorite TV

SHOW?

Probably not how can you relate if you really don't know

Sit back and think if the temperature of a room could cause pain and discoloration of your fingers or a toe

This is pain is harsh and lingers not the kind your mom can blow

While you continue to brainstorm we live this every day
